Democracy and True Participatory Self Government

Those that do not participate in self government are doomed to be governed by a few others and relinquish the  freedoms that so many have fought and died for. 

For the first time in mankind's history the mechanisms and technology for true participatory self government exist. It is time for the many to take the reigns and reduce the influence of the egoic mind and special interests and eliminate the detriments of corruption and bribery made possible by opacity.

The function of government is not to govern the people but to carry out the collective intention of the people and accomplish in unity what one or a few members can not do alone. The actions of Government, our collective effort, self rule and regulation should never impinge upon or show prejudice against   individual  free will and expression and the pursuit of happiness.

It is imperative to the  evolution of man, the collective good, and the survival of humanity  that the individual is protected from persecution and never oppressed by the collective. The radical, the challenger,  the eccentric, the revolutionary, the exception, the outcast, the odd ball, the rule breakers and those that march to the beat of a different drummer are the triggers and impetus behind human evolution, growth and new discovery. This includes new thought and ideas that challenge the status quo thinking and those that are resistant to change.

Evolution is all about change, which results in adaptation and improvement, and those that resist change, cling to the old, or oppress the harbingers of change impede the evolution of mankind and our ability to adapt to changes beyond our control such as the climate and nature.

Therefore the survival and good of the collective is dependant on the freedom of the individual.

Needed is a universal platform to support a balanced integrated perspective. If we all vote for a platform rather than a party then we kill the power of the parties because it doesn't matter what party anyone belongs to, it only matters what platform they support.
